These Surplus Jeans feature flap rear pockets with distressed edging, flared bottoms and fading on the kneees and upper rear thighs. 7" rise, 34" inseam. 98% Cotton, 2% Lycra.Only 1921 busts the sideseam to the waist on every jean, to avoid the bump which is sometimes evident on the seam of other jeans. This makes for a smoother fit. Topstitch threads are used in a variety of colors to give each jean a unique appearance. Best of all, you get a great fitting jean with unique washes you can feel good about since they are processed using no harmful chemicals. Only natural stones and water are used, and some jeans are hand sanded. Always buy them snug as they will not shrink, only stretch a little.

This is a slim fit jean that may not be right for everyone, but if you're going for a sharp, fitted look, you've found your pant. Selvedge denim is made on old style shuttle looms rather than modern projectile looms. In simple terms this means that the cross thread in the weaving process goes back and forth during the weaving process, making a stronger denim. Paul has created a classic with this pair of jeans.
